ADB, in partnership with Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST), announced the winners of “Click: Capturing Images of Inclusive Growth” on 12 May 2012 at ADB HQ from over 600 entries depicting compelling development issues in different countries.

A total of 319 participants representing 89 civil society organizations (CSOs) attended the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) 45th Annual Board of Governors’ Meeting in Manila, Philippines on 2-5 May 2012. Participants came from 28 countries that are members of ADB, mostly in Asia and the Pacific.

Speaking at ADB’s Eminent Speaker’s Forum on 5 March 2012, Jim Leape, WWF Director General, highlighted the opportunities of working with ADB, CSOs, and governments in Asia and the Pacific while encouraging more private sector participation in environmental management.

On 28 February 2012 Brett Jenks, Chief Executive Officer of Rare, a global conservation nongovernment organization (NGO), discussed at ADB headquarters how behavior change in developing countries can save biodiversity and the environment.
